Tmi but need opinions

Cd 27 and no AF. However, I put tampon in for a few seconds to see what's going on up there and there is brown spotting. Pretty sure that means AF coming right? Wonder if I would have any spotting this close to AF if conceived. Hmm! Scared to take test bc I took 2 CD 24 & CD 25 and both negative. Guess I will take one tomorrow to see if no AF by then. Stressful!!
