Any iui success stories??

Question

I am going to be 33 this July have not been on birth control since married (10 years) and not even a scare. Started seeing a RE this past September. DH and I have both been found completely normal and healthy so infertility completely unexplained....grrrrr Have been doing clomid since sept slowly upping dose each month always a good response 3 or more. This month was our first iui...with clomid. They gave me a trigger shot for timing but i always o on my own cd 14 or 15. I want to be hopeful but am nervouse. If it dosent work next month RE suggested surgery to scope things out to see if there is something they just can't see with all the ultrasounds and blood work. Would love to know if anyone had a iui success the first time..?

I've had the dye test, blood work, and ultrasounds. Only thing left for me if this iui dosent work is the laparoscopy. It is the most frustrating thing ever to have every single test come back normal!!!! Obviously something's not normal if I haven't got pregnant for the 10yrs I have been off birth control.....just wish I new what was wrong so I had something to focus on.

Also doing IUI and clomid for the first time this cycle. Have been off BC for over a year. I have spotting before my period which is consistant with a luteal phase defect, which I guess is my issue.

​Even though I have a reason for not getting pregnant, no one can tell me why I have this issue. They said it's not my age (I'm 34). It may be a mild form of PCOS, but I'm a healthy weight and have regular periods - other than the spotting.

​I've decided on my own to try to eat healthier, less carbs, etc to see if that will help because it's the only thing I can find when I look this stuff up and i want something I can control. Though I kinda feel like it's a moot point if I'm just gonna get pregnant artificially anyway.

Looking for IUI success stories as well. My husband and I have been married for almost 9 years and only used birth control for 7 months. We have no children and have actively been trying for the last 3 years. Had some thyroid issues but meds are regulating it and took two rounds of Clomid which didn't work. Clomid only caused cysts and extreme weight gain. Just finished my first round of femara yesterday and will do our
​1st round of IUI this cycle. Super nervous!!

 We also fall into that 20% of unexplained infertility :( had the HSG (dye test) and numerous of blood tests and ultrasounds and my husband has been tested too. Everything is "normal". So frustrating!! Good luck.

Same with me. Stopped using condoms august 2011 actively ttc since jan 2012. Not even a hint of conception. Had laparoscopy and dye test and hysteroscopy in October. Husband and I have nothing wrong with us as far as they can see :-( v frustrating. I think since there is no known prob chances are reasonably good. Personally I would have the lap and dye surgery cause at least you'll know then if tubes are clear or any endo in your womb. I have had a couple of people I know have clomid and iui and actually conceive naturally between cycles. I'm starting ivf in June. Good luck to you x
