Going it alone

Is there anyone out there going it alone and getting a sperm donor? We are at the point where our next step is IVF but my husband doesn't want a family like I do. He even avoids sex.  Honestly having children is what I want most in my life and even though I know it won't be easy. I am willing and able to do it on my own. Is anyone else going through the same?
