DPO count???

Hi, below is my calendar, my peak was Apr15, I just wanna know when should I start counting DPO, should I start on 16 or on Apr18 as 1DPO...
​And also when is the best time to test? Thank you!

As for the best time to test, after AF is late is best. However, I know it is hard to do that and I've heard it suggested to try and wait until 12 DPO to minimize the chance of a false negative.

That is correct. Assume you ovulated on the 17th. The 18th is 1st DPO. 

Your peak day is not when you ovulate. You ovulate a 24 to 48 hours after your peak day.

If you haven't pin pointed ovulation by BBT and/or OPK then I would count the day after your fertile window ends as 1 DPO. So in this case, the 18th would be 1 DPO. If you know when you ovulated by BBT or OPK then use the day after ovulation as 1 DPO.
