Is my period irregular?

Is this considered irregular? It's off by a couple days most months.

​I have been stressed. Mid February my grandpa lost his leg and my mom just recently had surgery. My husband and I bought a house in November. We strayed really "trying" in March. We tried in February but w grandpa loosing his leg i wasn't home much.

End of day 34 and still no period. All tests are negative. My breasts are tender as they normally are before AF.

Mine have been anywhere from 23 days to 43 days. And twice I've skipped AF all together. I need to schedule a doctors appointment once insurance kicks in at work. Sorry I can't be of much help but I can relate.

No. This would not be considered irregular. This is a very normal period pattern.

Also remember that the rule of cycles being 28 days is eight for some people and not others. So don't call yourself as late just because you pass this or early if you go before this. Everyone is different, so a few days shorter or longer is no big deal. If your cycles are really short or long (not sure what they call really short or long cycles) then there may be concern that things are not occurring properly throughout the cycle, otherwise of track and learn what is normal for you!!!

​Also ignore the 'you'll O on day 14' rule too. Not everyone does. Even when my Cycles were 28 days to the hour my o day would move between days 13-16.

​Track AF and O and if you need testing down the track it'll give the dr somewhere to start and help you time BD'ing. Good Luck xx

I have always been off a few days too. Timing for me is going to be tough also. I feel like i have no control and just trying my luck.

I am actually in a similar boat. Went off the pill in August and have gone from cycles as short at 26 days and February was even 38 days. My dr said I am not considered irregular since I am getting it every month. It is however making things horrible to time- so I'm using the opks hope this helps

I would say that's pretty regular. I've read most women have some variation of a few days. I use to be a '28 days to the hour' kind of regular but now I'm similar to you, varying between 27 and 32 days, with very occasional 26 or 33 day cycles. If I were you, and this is what I do, only consider yourself late if you haven't got AF by the time the longest cycle day has passed - so for me if I reach 34 days I count that as late.

I don't think it's irregular either because your getting a monthly AF. As pp said, it just means you have to keeping your toes when tracking ovulation x GL x
