How many "high" days before your peak?

This is my first month using CBFM. On average how many high days do you have before your peak?

Normally 4 days

Okay this month I've had 5 high days so far with no peak yet...not sure what's going on.

So I found out some information. Apparently, the monitor starts giving you "high" days once it detects an estrogen surge and peak x 2 days and high x 1 day (automatically) once it finds the LH surge.  If it misses your LH surge, it just keeps giving you high days for 10 days or until you get your period. That would explain a lot...but it does seem like some people were still able to get their BFPs on months like this so they must have ovulated.  Hope this helps!

Thanks ladies. I've had 2 so far. I know it fluctuates person to person, but I wonder how much it fluctuates cycle to cycle.

I had around 12 high days the first cycle I used it before peaking. Second cycle it was 4 or 5 high days before peaking. I read online lots of people get a LOT of high days the first cycle, but it was very frustrating. Good luck!

I had 8-10 then finally just stopped cuz i was getting very mad at that flashing smiley face.lol
