When is too early to test

​I'm 11 dpo af not due until 28th but the suspense is killing me! Can I test now or will I just be disappointed?

I always see it suggested to try and wait until 12 DPO to test if possible. But, I know how hard it is to do that and you're only one day away from 12 DPO. :)
