Water birth anyone?

Anyone have a water birth? Anyone have one in a hospital near Birmingham, Alabama?

Have 3 children one born in the water. The actual having the baby in the water isn't the big deal. The labor ing in the water is so very helpful for managing pain. If you find a place that allows you to labor in water but not give birth in water it is really good enough. My first no water at all was my very hardest labor. With my 3rd I labored in water most of the time and got out to push. I don't feel like I missed anything compared to my second who was born under water.

Nowhere near Alabama but yes I had one and I highly recommend it!! AMAZING. And oddly enough my guy LOVES the water from his first bath on.

I have not had one, but the Regional Medical Center in Anniston, AL recently began offering them.

The wife had hers at home, I ended up boiling water to maintain temperatures but also had a hose running into it from the bathtub.

​The task takes education, dedication, and enough time to let it happen onits  own course as most will try to rush the process and transfer or "not progress"
