Stopping my birth control pill?
I've been having so many issues with my pills for the past two years now. I used to be on a really good pill—my periods were like clockwork and also short and light, I had no cramps or mood swings, it was glorious.
Then my health insurance changed two years ago. My insurance is now through a Catholic hospital, so it doesn't cover contraceptives. Since then, I've been on three different pills, all of them horrid, but I had to get what I could afford. I've never had headaches in my life, and all of a sudden I started getting weekly migraines about a year-and-a-half ago. I cry randomly all the time, my cramps are awful, and I'm super nauseas almost 95% of the time with absolutely no changes to my daily routine or diet.
It's becoming completely unbearable. When I go to the doctor, they either say to wait it out or change my pill to some other crummy generic that only seems to make the problem worse and then tack on a $300 bill. I'm now tempted to just go off birth control, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, what some issues are when coming off the pill, general advice, etc. Thank you all so much in advance. I know I wrote one heck of a lot. :P
