Hypothyroid and pregnancy

So I went to the repro endocrinologist today and talked to the fellow about my TSH level it is 3.8 and I was on 25 of levothroxin I just upped it to 50. She said there was no reason to delay trying to get pregnant. I really want to try this month but I'm still a little concerned. Does anyone have successful pregnacy stories with TSH levels in the 3's? It should be headed down since they just upped my dose of levothroxin. Also when do you take your kevothroxine am or pm?
