How low is too low for BBT?

My bbt has dropped steadily over the last 4 days to mid- to low- 96 range, but I'm still a week out from ovulating. This is my first month charting -- so I'm wondering if this is normal? Does anyone else experience lower than average bbt?

I've had my thyroid checked multiple times because of family history, most recently in January and they said everything was good. I'll keep monitoring to see if it was just a random drop or part of my normal cycle.

That is a low temp. Have you ever had your thyroid checked?

Everyone is different. Mine stays in the high 97 range before O and then the mid 98 range after. You will only know what's normal for you after a couple months of charting.
