New, curious and want opinions!

I am currently TTC. When I first started having sex my sister (who is like my mother) told me afterward to always make sure I clean myself off and go pee. Do you think that I'm just peeing out the sperm then? I know it's stupid, but I'm actually unsure and don't want anything to go wrong on my TTC journey...
