Advice please...cycle after MC

I had my MC on 01/04/14 and as soon as the bleeding stopped my and DH Started trying again. Which lasted longer than a normal period would. However roll forward to 21st of this month and I had some bleeding which was so light I only had to wipe a couple of times and it was gone, followed by two days of spotting. I have currently counted this as a period in my chart but was the bleeding too light to be classed as a period? I had hoped for implantation bleeding (as the timing would work out about right) but test says negative.  Should I count this as a period or not? I'm so confused! ​
