Bleeding 3DPO

Hi ladies,

After many searches on Google, I can't find much on information so I'm hoping some of you may have an answer:

At about 3 DPO I noticed bright red bleeding. I even had to wear a pad to bed! I thought AF had started but it was 2 weeks too soon. After that it turned to brown blood (old blood?) for about 3 days. Any thoughts?

Wouldn't it be too early for IB? 

I'm about 10DPO now and the spotting has stopped. AF due Monday, but I really wonder what that weird spotting/bleeding could've been!
