Disney World Tips?

Question

We're taking our 3.5-year-old daughter to Disney World in Florida next week. Does anyone have any special tips or tricks? She's into all things princess. We've already got breakfast with Cinderella booked and Fast Passes done, but it's all so overwhelming. I just want her experience to be magical.

Thanks for the tips, everyone! She had a fantastic week! We stayed in the Art of Animation resort (which has amazing pools) and did all 4 parks, Magic Kingdom twice. All the tips were great!

Take things for sun protection, dress comfortably, and take a change of clothes. Disney parks are so much fun.

Go to Target and get her a princess dress there (they're like a third of the price). Get yourself some cooling towels too (frogg toggs is a big brand, they're at walmart!), because it's going to be wicked hot here. If you want to eat at a restaurant there, make a reservation as soon as you get into the park, because they fill up fast. And when I was little, my favorite thing was collecting autographs, so get her a book! :) they sell them there, but any blank book will do.

Don't try to do everything. Disney is a big place with tons if people.  My biggest tip, listen to your lil one. Disney can be fun but it can also be very overwhelming.  If she's getting fussy, find a quiet spot and let her rest. Maybe stop for a snack and relax on a bench for a bit. Know her limits and yours and don't try to exceed them, it'll make for a happier trip.

My three year old sons favorite attractions at magic kingdom are the tiki room, journey of the little mermaid, the buzz light year ride, mike wazowskis laughing floor, and pirates! Brig a cooler of drinks with you, and if possible an extra shirt to change into when you leave( if it's really hot) you will be sweaty. Also, make sure to bring her to the tomorrow land area when it gets dark because they always have a little DJ dance party and characters that come out and dance. My son loves that part!

I live on hour away from disneyworld and have annual passes, so I am here to help! First thing--do not stress. It can get super crowded and rushing and strain makes it miserable. I was going to say to make sure you have fast passes but you did that already! If you go to magic kingdom the monorail is fun but the ferry boat is sometimes less stressful--especially if you have a stroller. You have to take her to the little mermaid show at Hollywood studios! Also, at magic kingdom the best time to go on rides is usually during to fireworks at night--usually around nine pm. The wait times really get shortened because everyone is watching the fireworks. In the tomorrow land area you must ride on "the people" mover. It's somewhat like a train or monorail that takes you around the tomorrow land area and it's relaxing and helps get you off your feet for a bit. We usually do the people moved at the end of our day. Also, you have to get a dole pineapple whip, and a Mickey Mouse sugar cookie.
