Experience with luteal phase defect?

Since my endometriosis surgery my cycles have been shorter and shorter and my luteal phase dropped from 13 to 12 to 10. Anyone have experience with this? Advice??

Jamie...try vitamin b6 50 or 100mg tabs. I have short Lps and I ovulated 3 days earlier than usual this month and hoping this means my Lp will be more than 12 days this month!

Its worth talking to your doctor about- there could be a reason behind it. Maybe you need progesterone supplements? Good luck!!

Thanks for the input ladies. It's just so weird bc I track my cycles religiously and my lp fluctuates a lot. (I've done BBT for a year and a half now) It should be consistent right?

I have 10-11 day LP - started taking 50mg of B6 this month with my normal pre conception multi vit.

​I'm in cd12 and normally my Clearblue monitor is at 'high' by now, but I'm still on 'low' so I suspect b6 is delaying me ovulating... Bit of a disaster as I go on a business trip on CD18 thinking I would O as normal on CD15

I have a short luteal phase and often have spotting the entire time. I did acupuncture with some pressure points that can lengthen the luteal phase. Also, my dr. prescribed Prometrium, a capsule that releases progesterone during the luteal phase. It is inserted like a tampon in the morning and at night. I only used it after  an IUI cycle and did not have spotting.
