How much does it cost?

Me and DB are pretty responsible and very financially stable but I was just wondering on average how much it costs to have a baby? Like during pregnancy, what you have to buy and for a year after the babies born? Thanks in advance

It also depends on what you need. This time around I know exactly what I need an what I don't need. I plan on buying a swing and bouncer in one. It's made by graco, and it's a two in one so it saves on space and also since a bouncer will be anywhere from 30-100$ and a swing is 70-300$ I can buy the two in one from babies r us for just under 200$ and save a bit of money and some space. I also will be buying a bassinet so I can move baby around the house with me from bedroom to living room so I can keep an eye on it and because I run a daycare and kids nap in my room. If you know if your just breast feeding then buy your formula on sale about a month before your due (it won't go bad) then get things on sale and stuff. Hunt for the best price and you'll save.

I personally thing it depends. A lot of people make their babies expensive. I used to have to spend $60 a month buying new clothes for my son because he grew so fast. I went and bought formula at the factory it came from instead of from the store-would get 6 containers for like $110 a month. Diapers-I don't even remember-but if you're looking to cut costs you can can washable diapers. It's a huge savings, but I never had the stomach to do it! If I had to guess I probably spent $100ish a month. I got most of my big stuff from my shower. But there's also great discount/previously used children's stores-if you go to these stores in the richer areas you can get things with tags with tags still on or still in the box for like $50.
