My bf wont stop lying to me and its really bothering me. Whenever i confront him about hearing him say something to someone else he lies about what actually happened. Now, they aren't very important lies but i still feel as though he wants me to not be mad so he keeps lying! Ugh what do i do?!!

What kind of lies does he tell? Does he make himself sound more important/bigger then he is? Or more though?
​If its in this area could be that he is insecure about himself.. Or want to sound more interesting then he really is (he might think he doesnt have a exciting life?) i would keep bringing it up and talk about it.
​But if he lies about where he has been and who he was with it think after a few talks/fights i would give up and walk away.
