Help!!

I got my period today (a day late) and for the past week I've had period pains (cramps etc) and then today I had the worst pain yet, like cramps, felt a bit sick and headache. I took 2 paracetamols and an ibruprofen AND had a hot water bottle but they only worked for a short period of time (few hours). Has anyone got any Suggestions for longer lasting pain relief? Thankyou!
