Anyone have a husband who travels?

Husband leaving town today for work. Took ovulation test and got the LH surge. Tried to go in this morning and massage his back so we could BD. Said he was too tired and now he leaves town today and doesn't come back until Wednesday. After my window is closed. Feeling so defeated.

My hubby is 8:6 and we keep missing the window! Any advice? Can I take the pill for a week to change my window?

Totally know the feeling my husband lives away during the week and is only home Saturday and Sundays so it's rarely enough time to bd a good amount of times!! It's our 6th month ttc which I know isn't very long for some but feels like forever! And because he is away during the week during my fertile time there is even more pressure to do it on the right days which causes a lot of stress and pressure on him. I've tried telling him my fertile window and tried not telling him and somehow it still causes pressure! He is really supportive though and feels awful that it's not happening. I guess it's just a waiting game! Life would be much easier if I had him home full time! Good luck and baby dust to you :)

It's so hard my husband is FIFO and ttc makes it almost impossible especially when you throw a fertility issue in there. 
​I guess if your open with hubby and say I'm fertile let's go boys lol then that leaves it in his court.
​I feel for you we are trying again and it's been a year so far :(

Yes I know how you feel, my partner works away every now and then, but has been away a lot the last couple of months and is away now right through my fertile window. It makes the whole ttc thing that little bit harder but I figure I've waited this long so another month won't hurt, just have to try to stay positive ?
