Late with neg test

I'm either one-two days late. I tested today and it was negative. I've been cramping all day like I'm gonna start and nothing. My cervix is kinda hard to reach so I guess it's high and it's softer then it has been. My boobs are sore and keep getting a tingly feeling especially when my one yr old cries(I haven't breast fed her since she was 3 months) If I don't start how long should I wait to test again? TIA
