What could happen to the baby if you smoked marijuana during your pregnancy, no negativity please just advice

My advice is not to do it, not because I'm against pot because I am not against it but because I would never want to see someone go through what my friend went through again and I would never want someone to risk their life or their unborn babies life on a chance that they could be fine or they could die or lose the child. I'd say stop until after birth and themif you wanted to start again do so in another room to make sure the child's lungs can grow unhindered. Good luck on making this tough choice.

My best friend smoked the whole pregnancy she developed pre-eclampsia and almost died and almost lost her baby. They had to induce as a preemies the child was in NICU for two months and didn't speak until 3 years old. My friends daughter is 17 now and fine but things could have went differently, we almost lost her a couple of times while in NICU.

I know a few females tht smoked &the pregnancy was fine.  most females that smoke like chimneys have a normal pregnancy. bt if weed is found n the babys system @ birth then the baby can be taken away.

Marijuana can cause lower birth weights in babies and can lead to longer term health problems like respiratory issues and mental defects. Basically, it's not a good idea.
