Feeling down , no friends .?

Ive lived in Charlotte for over an year now & I still haven't found a group of friends or my niche here . I won't lie I never thought as a grown woman I'd feel like " I needed friends " but I feel that way now . My boyfriend has been here for over 5 years and has many& I really feel I need a life outside of work and him .  Any advice ladies ? I don't want this to ruin relationship . I need a life ?????
