Anyone ovulate less than 10 days before period?

I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago and was around 5 weeks pregnant. My hcg level was 40 when went into hospital with pain and bleeding and soon went down to 14 so I am sure all passed. I then took ovulation tests Which were positive since then. I am now 2 days late but when looked at my logs I noticed I ovulate on day 20 of a 28 day cycle. I have done some research and a lot of forums mentions lutearl phase defect when you ovulate less than 14 days before period due. I saw do corridas who didn't want to know and didn't help. Anyone heard of this or in similar situation? X x
