Any opinions welcome

Hiiii. I am currently back on birth control but we are looking to start trying in the next year or so. He reeeaally wants a boy and I hear it's never too early to start planning for pregnancy especially since it can take so long to be regular after getting depo shots. Any advice? Anyone tried for a boy and got what they wanted? How early did you start planning? Id love to hear what anyone has to say on the topic. Thanks!
