Second period? Normal? When is CD1?
I hope this isn't tmi, but I seem to be having a second period this month? I got mine last Wednesday and it lasted through sat.
Early this morning I awoke to use the bathroom and saw red when I wiped. I thought I might have been imagining things in my half sleep, but double checking it was definitely there. I had back pain all evening and a weird feeling (no oter explanation) that lasted for a few minutes before bed but nothing especially odd. When I woke up with the bleeding I started to get a sharp pain on my right side. I freaked myself out thinking it was all sorts of crazy things (liver, appendix, kidney stones) but long story short, the pain subsided and I went back to bedThe pain and bleeding have continued today, I don't know if you would call it spotting or a light period flow but it's along those lines and is more brown in color now than redI guess I just want to make sure that this is "normal" since it's never happened to me before and also to try to figure out if this is really a second period (did I maybe ovulate twice?) and where should I count day 1 from? Typically my cycles are 31 days with ovulation occurig aroun 19-20. This past cycle it occurred on day 21 and my period didn't start until day 35. Maybe a longer cycle has messed me up this month? Anyone have a double period cycle and when did you O after that?Sorry for such a long post! Thanks in advance!
