What to ask at your first appt.

After 2 MCs I'm pregant again! My question is what should I be asking when I call to make my first appt. more than likely they will do a blood draw to confirm, but should I ask for any other labs since I'm more prone to MC?

I agree with Stephanie. Ask to have your progesterone levels checked. Low progesterone is a big cause of miscarriage and it's a fairly easy fix to prevent it. I have been on progesterone suppositories since about week 5/6... I'm now 9w4d.

hopefully you get a great doctor who will want to watch you more closely! I too have had two miscarriages and this is my third. my second miscarriage was a ectopic and since I've found out I was pregnant this time I've been to see my doctor at least once a week. sometime twice when he wants to draw blood.
