Baby showers

I am 11 weeks and have had 2 friends offer to throw me baby shower. I have a 5 year old son, and a 2.5 year old step daughter. I had already gave everything away. And my husband had been fighting for custody of his daughter for the past year. So we don't have anything left over from her either. We both had baby showers with each of our children. Is it tacky to have another? A part of me feels like it is. I mostly want to know what other people think lol.
