TTC after Depo?

Question

I was on Depo for 6 months from June 2013 - December 2013. I started getting what seemed like fairly regular periods in February of 2014. The first period was mostly brown, dry blood, but since then has become pretty normal (red). However, they come extremely sporadically. My first cycle was 32 days, then only 26, then 38, and now I'm on day 40 with no period.

​Just looking for a little support from others who are trying or have tried to conceived after taking Depo.

Sorry that sent before I had finished lol. My periods are very regular. The longest is 33 days and shortest is 28. Normally they are 33 but sometimes they can be a little early. Which is frustrating. I started OPK last month to pin point ovulation and was rly expecting a BFP but nope. Bfn and AF arrived. Feel rly bummed out bout it all that it's takin so long but I think it's bcos of the depo!

i was on it  a year and a half. (7 months off). got on nuvaring was on it on and off. didn't put a new one in April 2. got what I think an actual period April 23 got another period may 18 2014.

I was in the same boat as you!
I started taking maca root 2 times a day to regulate me and now im on a regular 30-32 day cycles. Trust me!!! It helped significantly.

Hiya. I was on the depo injection for about 6-7 years on and off and I came off July 2012. Then went in a pill for 6 months before we were ready to start ttc. My periods came back in feb 2013 and April 2013 we decided we were ready. Been ttc for 14 months now and still nothing. T per

I stopped Depo in January but I got BC pills to regulate my period. I had planned to get pregnant so I only took the pills for one month. I got pregnant by the end of April. So I guess about a month of completely stopping all methods of birth control. I would def suggest taking the pill to regulate ur cycles first. It worked for me. Good Luck!!

I was in for about 5 years and had my last shot in august, first actual period this past march:) never been so happy lol this is my second cycle ttc baby #1:)

I stopped dep in April of last year. Received my first period in June and it was rear except longer than before depo. Got prego in December , but unfortunately miscarried at 5 w 2 d. Had a normal period right away, started working out and now my periods are 30 days apart rather than 28. You are probably starting to get back to normal. It takes anywhere from 6 months to a year for our body to get back to normal after depo. Good luck to you !!
