Cloth Diapers Vs Disposables?

While waiting for my BFP I've been doing tons of research and I'm about 99% sure I'm going to cloth diaper. What about you guys? Any favorites? Any diaper do or don'ts? Share!

I am torn on this subject. We did in fact cloth diaper with my son for two whole years. It helped us save so much money but I do believe we bought the worst diapers ever. We used Alva's which are a steal, but honestly, they're crap. If we would have ha more to invest I think it would have gone better. Even with stripping and washing correctly they held onto stink and ammonia. My son kept a rash, poor thing. Now we use pull ups as were potty training. I would try cloth again but my husband is now morally opposed.  I am stripping and donating the stash I have to a sister in another congregation.

I tried doing clothe, my daughters legs were to skinny, then they got to big... Would save a ton of money, but try to wait till baby is born to find the right clothe diaper. 270$ wasted.....

I did cloth with my 4th and loved it. Wish I'd done it sooner. I learned that I'm not a fan of AIOs as they take forever to dry and hold on to stink.

I think I will cloth diaper too, at least while on leave from work. I don't want to but if we have to do daycare I have a feeling they won't allow cloth diapers... But we'll see!
