Crazy short period. Normal? (Maybe tmi AF talk)
My period is always the same... spotting (brown) for a day, heavy flow and cramping on Day 1-2, lighter flow and no cramping day 3, then one more day of spotting.
This cycle I started spotting on Wednesday (pink), then Thursday was really crampy but thick and brown. Almost a lotion consistency and just oozing out when I peed. That lasted for the morning and by noon everything stopped. For the rest of Thursday and most of Friday there was nothing. Then a little spotting (just when I wiped) and nothing else. I've still been having some cramping though.
I saw my GYN on Wednesday and from my symptoms before AF and my blood tests he thinks I had a chemical pregnancy. Could that be why I had such a weird period?
Also, Friday I woke up with a fever 100.68, incredibly sore joints, and stomach pain and nausea. Saw dr and they said it wasn't flu and probably an infection. Gave me a steroid and antibiotics. Could my period have been short because I was getting sick?
