Irregular periods?????

Okay so my period usually starts at the end of the month, for some reason it started around the 6th last month. Nothing yet. I have been having unprotected sex with a partner who doesn't seem to know when he, ahem, does STUFF. Yeah, idk either. But I'm pretty nervous. I don't know if I should take a test or just wait. The sooner I figure it out, the better. I also have an almost 2 year old. Lol he is more than enough.
