Possible problems ttc after IUD?

Been TTC #2 for a year with no luck. maybe there isn't a problem but certain factors make me wonder now... 4 years ago with my first I was pregnant within 2 weeks of knowing her dad, had an IUD after she was born but had it removed about 8 months after due to complications ( it moved around and I could feel I with my fingers at certain days in my cycle). I'm wondering if anyone else had experienced anything like this?  Another thought was maybe it's not me?  The man I am with now has never had a child so possible fertility issues in his end are unknown
