I just got my BFP today and I never lay flat after BD. Normally I was on the top so I'd sit there for a bit just to get some energy back then head to the bathroom. I'm always afraid of getting a uti or something if I don't go to the bathroom quick enough.

I always try to, but we try and keep our sex life varied to keep it interesting and fun so the location isn't always suitable for laying flat!

It's been proved you do not need to/it doesn't help if you lay flat, do a handstand or lay with your legs in the air in order to get pregnant. After ejaculation, sperm reach your cervix within seconds no matter what position or what you do afterwards. What leaks out afterwards isn't just all the sperm, (mainly just seaman) so don't worry about that bit ✨
