If you've ever been raped/molested by a family member have you forgiven the person?

He was my friends brother. I have forgiven him. I was at the fair with my husband when he actually apologized several years later.

No and I never want to forgive him. I see him almost everyday I was forced by my family to help with his wedding. He's expecting a child now while I'm over here struggling to get pregnant and having ectopics cuz he gave me chlymidia several times. He's a ducking bastard and I can never forgive him for making me this person

I have never experienced this but it is a horrible terrible thing that happened to you! I don't think you should ever feel that you have to forgive that person! just make sure you make a choice that allows you to move past the incident/s so you can live your life to the fullest!!
