Period 5 days early!!

Okay I started my cycle 5 days early. This morning was usual bleeding then in the afternoon brown spotting off and on. Took a preg. Test came back negative. Now, I just had the "heavy-ish" bleeding then it stopped again and back to little to no spotting I'm not sure what is going on. This has never happened. I did however have a "cp" back in feb. But, technically in medical terms that isn't considered a mc. Has anybody else experienced this "cycle" bleeding or is it even my cycle?? Help!!!
