TSS almost ended me

I almost died from this and am still currently in the hospital for it, but bc of this I was wondering how many die from this. Like the probability. Please let it be a prove statistic one not made up. I'm just curious. (Example of how I'm wanting it is like 2 out of 5 that get it die) hopefully that's not the true statistic but I'd just like to know
