Jess

Well, I am 26 and not in a relationship, but I saw my gyno for my yearly yesterday. I have PCOS and a pituitary microadinoma (aka a tumor on the gland in your brain that makes the hormones for your body, both of which I was aware of prior to this appointment).

Anywho, he asked if I wanted to have kids, and I do, he asked if I was trying, I told him I want to be married but am not in any kind of relationship, to which he told me that if I want to have kids I better hurry since I'm already 26 and my medical problems already make it very difficult to get pregnant, trying after I turn 30 will be nearly impossible.

My issue is a genuine one, I want to be a mother so very badly, that's all I've wanted for as long as I can remember! But I also want a strong and happy family for my kids bc I didn't have that... Do you think I should rush into starting a family? Or is there someone in Glowland that has similar or the same issues as I do and still managed to conceive after 30?

This was the most heartbreaking news I've ever received from a doctor, especially since I'm still so young...
