First time off Birth control in 10 years!

Hey ladies! So I've been on birth control since I was 15, and I'm 25 now. Recently I decided I didn't want to put any hormones into my body. Today I have awful lower pelvic pains on my right side. I'm guessing, due to my Calendar on here, that I'm ovulating. Never have I felt how this is supposed to feel! Do any of you have experience with what other "aftermath" I should expect being off of BC?
