Dear Aunt Flo

I think it’s time we had a heart to heart. It’s has been great having you visit every month since I was 14. Some might even say you helped me become a woman. Through the years we have been through a lot together, tears, chocolate, ice cream, and maybe a good old fashion pizza, I always had your favorite food, but let’s be honest you have not always been an easy guest in return. During your visits I have to take Tylenol on a daily basis and you sure know how to make a girl go crazy with mood swings.  Don’t get me wrong there were months when you arrived late that I would worry, but no matter what you always showed up. You were good ol reliable Aunt Flo and I thank you for that, so please don’t be upset when I say it’s time for a vacation. I mean come on it’s been over 15 years, aren’t you tired of coming around every month, wouldn’t you like a long vacation, say 9 months? Please don’t take it personal, I’m not saying don’t come back around forever. I just feel it’s time for me to move on to the next stage in my life and this time you can’t be there, if fact you being there kind of gets in the way.  So if you don’t mind please take that vacation and I will see you when you in 9 months!
