First appointment question

I will be calling the OB either today or tomorrow to schedule my first appointment (I gotta find one that takes my primary and secondary insurance and look at reviews since I don't have an OBGYN yet because I only moved here 9 months ago).

But, when should I expect they will wanna see me?

I'm 3 weeks and 4 days from LMP. Problem is, I am going out of town for about 3 weeks on Friday. So, if they don't get me in this week then I will be not quite 8 weeks when I get back home. Is 7-8 weeks ok to be seen for the first time?

This is my first pregnancy so this is all new to me! I have no idea what to expect. Haha.
