Pregnancy after laparoscopy?

Question

I just had surgey to remove a septum in my uterus as well as a polyp. Has anyone else had this procedure? Anyone successful in conceiving after?

I've had two laparoscopy's with no luck so far. I have stage 4 endo though and cysts on my ovaries so I'm scheduled for a laparotomy at the end of the month. Don't give up hope! There's been lots of successful pregnancies after getting a laparoscopy, wishing you the best of luck.

Yes- I had three miscarriages (all of which were late at 12 weeks-13 weeks) before they discovered I has a septum in my uterus. They fixed it in may 2012 and I got pregnant in June 2012 (my baby girl is now 17 months old.  I was really scared about the surgery but it was a miracle they found this problem and fixed it.

​One doctor said that if a miscarriage happens late at 12 weeks and a heartbeat was discovered, it could be a uterus issue.   I didn't assume I had a uterine septum because it is so rare. But I think it's rare to have 3 miscarriages In a row so late.
