What are good acne brands?

i have bad breakout some times. i use African Black soap which cleans REALLY GOOD! but i am running out and the only place i can get them is a certian hair store i go to back at home in which i am mot at :( So what acne brands are good that are not expensive?

I used generic brands and I found out they did NOTHING but add oils to my skin.. Then I tried medicine didn't work.. Then finally I saw a commercial for proactive and x-out and I decided to give it a try after about 2 weeks of using it my face was perfect. I had zero black heads and no pimples. I really think this is a good idea for you to try out if u are looking for a good acne treatment

I stopped using all chemicals on my skin. Now I use honey (Raw and local) as a wash and specific essential oils that I now sell. It made a huge difference. My hormones got out of control with infertility hormones and the oils really helped.

I used to have moderate acne and when I switched to natural products it cleared right up! My skin would react to everything, benzoyl peroxide made it worse so did prescription creams. I really like the Burt's bees line (specifically the cream cleanser) I also like body shops tea tree oil line. Tea tree oil works great as a spot treatment and I use witch hazel as a toner. I think my acne is part caused by allergies to  chemicals in other washes etc. I'm also very sensitive to makeup and can only wear certain kinds. Hope this helps :)

I've found that the brand of the treatment does not really matter, it's the medicinal ingredients that count. The only thing that works for me is 10% benzoyl peroxide. Unfortunately, since I live in Canada, I can't get anything higher than 5%, as there have been studies that say the higher concentration of benzoyl peroxide is bad for the skin. It's illegal to sell 10% here, it's not Health Canada approved. So I have to get it when I go to the states. I've tried treatments that cost over a hundred dollars a tube, and almost every drugstore brand sold here and none work, many just dry out my skin. Benzoyl peroxide is drying too, but at least it works. I can get a ten dollar tube at any drugstore in the states, in any brand and it last me six months to a year.

But see. i will share a story. i was in a fire when i was 14 years old. the fire messed up my face with a 3rd degree burn and because my face is sensitive now i get acne crazy and deep pores and its hard for me to get rid of it. i was planning on asking my dad for XOUT but i dont want him to pat about it. then i asked my derm for Epiduo but she told me that its about $600. and i use to use Clearasil before my burn. i never really had acne. just one pimple and that was all i had. :( but since my burn its harder for me to do anything i clearing up my face
