Pain in lower left side

Hi everyone! So I have this pain that is in my lower left side it's under my hips. I went and got my pap and my doctor said everything was good and she would send me for an ultrasound. That also came back normal. The pain comes and goes but sometimes it's so bad I feel like throwing up! It's always a shooting pain that sometimes goes across my abdomen. I am on the pill for 16 years now and getting off in about a month an a half to start TTC. I am just worried it's something bad that they are missing. It's not me ovulating because I have the pain almost every day. Anyone else ever experience this sort of thing? Thanks for all your help!
