Irregular periods, not PCOS. What else could it be?

I have very irregular periods, averaging one every 2 and a half months. My doctors ruled out PCOS, but I can't get any answers yet. I have been off birth control since last November and am ttc. But the drs won't further test until I've been off BC and ttc for one year. Any one else have similar story/experience? Any luck getting pregnant?

I have been off BC and TTC since October. Pretty sure I am not pcos. I have a 3 year old. Very irregular periods but this time I am on cycle day 73!! So long since AF. Got some blood tests done last week and waiting on them eagerly!!

Did you test your thyroid level? But maybe your cycle needs time after coming off of BC. Some woman need 1 year to get a 'normal' cycle back.... How do you track your cycle? BBT? CM? OPK? nothing?

Get a new doctor. Lack off regular periods can be a sign of a great many things - but one thing for sure: difficulty TTC. Don't wait a whole year.
