masturbation.. but religious??

i used to masturbate because i thought he would keep me from wanting to have sex. a couple weeks ago i had a pregnancy scare (still going through one) and stopped sexual acts all together. so tell me,  do you think that masturbation is a sin?

From a biblical standpoint, yes it is. The bible says for a man and don't quote me but if a man basically waste his seed it's an act of sin. His sperm main purpose is to impregnate his wife. Do I sin lol well yes.

I think organized religions shame a lot of really natural processes. So no, maturation is not a "sin".

I don't think it's a sin, but even then we sin all the time. I'm not saying it's okay, but one sin is not better than another no matter what it is. So if you think it's one (which I don't), don't be hard on yourself because it's very natural.
