My Aunt Is Bleeding (kinda Tmi no pic)

My aunt had just found out she is about 9 weeks pregnant. She is only a couple of weeks behind me. This morning around 430 am, she woke me up crying and told me to come to the bathroom. There was so much blood in the toilet and in her undies. On the counter sink she had a huge blood clot that was about 2in by 3in and very dark red/ brown. She's terrified and went to the ER. I didn't go cause I don't want to get all worked up and stressed put. Has anyone heard of such a thing? She said she has no cramping and just woke up like that. This is her second pregnancy. Help ASAP!!!!!!!!
