TMI need answers

So I have noticed that recently my vagina discharge is producing a certain odor. My panties are constantly wet and I can smell myself through my clothes. No matter how many showers I take a few hours in and I start smelling myself again and it's so embarrassing. My GYN said everything is fine and the odor can be from semen and producing bacteria. I disagree because I went a week without sex to see and it still smells? What could this be?
