How to cope ?

How does everyone cope with the pressure from family to concieve? 
​Being a Latina it seems like it's almost expected for a couple to have kids right away, when it doesn't happen that's when family starts asking questions ....

My family is ok, but my friends aren't!! I had an acquaintance ask me on Facebook last week if I was pregnant!! I was so upset and angry. She doesn't know the struggle that I (and all of us here) go through every day ?

I know how you feel!! I also come from a culture where kids are expected right after marriage! The stress is getting to me as well..ive also been ttc for 4 months now. It realllyy sucks..since stress only slows things down further. So the family asking questions only aggravates me and stresses me out more!

I was under that same pressure until I opened up and confessed it hasn't happened. Now everyone stops asking but every once in a while they ask when are we having kids.

I haven't had too much pressure from mine which is good really cause I've been married for 4 years and ttc for over two and a half years. It must suck! It's up to you really if you want to tell them you're trying but babies take time to make or if you don't want to you could just say there are other things you want to focus on first. X
