WHATS GOING ON!? OPK!

Question

This month is my first time ever using opk. So, my period started on 6/19/14 and lasted 5 days. I took an ovulation test on CD8.. And it was negative but the line was visible. It's CD 10 and I took a test and it came out negative also but it was much lighter? What's going on? Glow said my ovulation started the 26th but it's now the 28th. :/ what's going on? Should i stop worrying?

Your OPKs won't necessarily get progressively darker as your cycle moves along. Sometimes the line will be lighter, sometimes darker but they are all negative until the test line is definitely darker than control line. Mine do this. Sometimes I barely have a line then the next day it is clearly positive. Try not to worry, I was concerned as well but once u do get that positive you'll feel relieved. Btw I didn't ovulate til CD 17 this month. Good luck :)

Candice , just keep testing glow says I start ovulating on cd10 I've been testing from then  but I only got a positive on cd14 for the last 2 months ! Some people just ovulate later ... Well that's what I think ?

I usually hold my pee until 10am after waking up and do an opk at 10am and another one at 4pm holding my pee and no liquids for 4 hours. You can definetly ovulate a lot later than what glow says, you will get used to reading your own body everyone is different, but when you see EWCM or watery CM it's BD time :)

It's probably just lighter because you had more water to drink and your urine was more diluted. A little but of fluctuation in lh before the surge is fine. When it surges you will see a clear dark line, and that is what is important. And you usually don't see it until towards the end of your fertile week, so try not to stress out now!
